CFR 230.128
The locomotives in P8 class were designed in Germany for hard trains of passengers tracking. 139 of them were manufactured by U.D.R. S.A. up to 1937.
Their production began here in 1932, considering their excellent fit to Romanian infrastructure.
With a reduced consumption reported to their track force and speed of 100km/h, they were taken for robust and easy to maintain.
