Created after the German type G10, those engines were set in work for main and secondary tracks (freight transport).

Some of them were technologically modified for passenger transport or rapid post, with 70 km/h. The engine called REGELE FERDINAND / KING FERDINAND (number plate 50.243) was the prime one manufactured from the 261 ones produced by U.D.R. S.A., between 1926 and 1944.
